Patch conversion:
Previously I have saved my Juno-106 sounds one by one in a sysex dump.
By using a hexeditor I read out all the parameters from the sysex file using the info from here:
http://www.hinzen.de/midi/juno-106/howto-02.html
Previously there was an error in one bit but now I see that it has been corrected.
I entered these parameters into excel. See Juno106 to JU06.jpg.
I then converted these sysex params to Boutique format for my JU06A.
I have also converted these sounds to TAL U-NO-60 with great success.
Later I bought a System-8 but unfortunately parameters are not compatible so a new excel with all
boutique parameters for conversion to System-8 Juno plugout was made, see Ju06A to S8.jpg
With this excel I generated MIDI-#CC for each sound, see JU06A CC.jpg
Most sounds sound identical, but sometimes some minor adjustments are needed.
Then I started converting my JP08 sounds to my System-8 Jupiter-8 plugout in the same way,
see JP08 my patches.jpg and JP08 to S8.jpg
Then I A/B ran them side-by-side to fine-tune the sounds.
Most of the simple sounds sound identical, sometimes small adjustments are needed, but a few don't quite work
at all as the JP08 and plugout don't really have the same parameters
However, I find the boutique JP08 has a more organic sound than the Jupiter-8 in System-8.
I also did the same from my JX03, see JX03 to S8.jpg
